Several years ago Angelique visited the 120 year old Watres Armory, which had also been for a period, home to the National Guard, to clear the building and its’ grounds.  Prior to her arrival, living on the site was fraught with many challenges, namely spirit sightings and certain rooms that felt foreboding; creating relentless tension, sleepless nights and ill health especially headaches. 

I was returning from a trip that particular weekend when Angelique stayed and wasn’t thinking about the clearing as I stepped through the door into the long hallway of the bottom floor.  Instantaneously, I was greeted with a sense of brightness, as though all of the bulbs were replaced with higher lumens and a tangible lightness coupled with what felt like “gentle, peaceful quiet” surrounding me. Angelique advised me later that she escorted over 200 souls from the building, which I thought a bit incredulous at the time, until I learned years later that the ground floor of the Armory was used as a makeshift morgue during the winter of the Spanish flu! 

Needless to say, I was overjoyed with gratitude to find that my life was no longer laden with nervous foreboding, restless nights and best of all my headaches were gone.  I was finally able to thank Angelique personally several months later, when we met in person on another Clearing and Blessing project, which was also a wonderful success, as business and work now flowed with a renewed energy. Angelique is a delight to work with and I enthusiastically recommend her “services.”  MFJ

The hulking military relic is sited in the former coal and iron capital of Scranton in northeastern Pennsylvania, two hours from New York and two and half hours from Philadelphia. I could tell you stories for hours. The Woolworth house is the most challenging, because it had been gridded to Mr. Woolworth and it was almost impossible for anybody else to do anything to it.” “I had an English friend who’s very metaphysically adept, and she went in and had to redo the grids so that I could be there and make it work”.

I’m sure the Armory has a number of ghosts …

“A century of them. We had to ghost-bust it three or four times. And it has tunnels that go on for miles and miles beneath it. It’s also built over a coal mine, so there’s all this history and they think it was even part of the Underground Railroad … That’s what my metaphysician, Angelique de Wolfe, said. Anyway, it’s quite a fascinating thing. It had time capsules in the walls. It’s got a lot of remarkable features”…
